Before being allowed to vote you must read and abide by the rules of the creed.

Voters Creed

Liking someone’s battle should not be based on the following:
- Who they are (if they’re a “big-shot” or more popular than the other)
- If they’re your friend
- Pure emotion (“I just like this better than that one”)
- Eeny-Meeny-Miney-Mo

Voters Breakdown:
Anything of a decent breakdown will be honored as a vote, but here are some popular voting categories. It is recommended that you pick your favorite 5 to do a breakdown.

Opener: this pertains to the first two lines of the verse. which verses opener stood out to you and why? was it a personal? was it a diss, hype, or threat? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Flow: how easy was it for you, the reader, to perform this verse to a beat? were lines too long to fit in a measure? were there many gaps and pauses in attempts to fit a line into a measure? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Multies: rhymes at the end of the lines do not count here. this is for the rhymes in the middle and spread throughout the lines. who had more? how well did they fit? did they help or hurt the flow? were they one syllable words or multi syllabic words or groups of words rhymed? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Disses: one of the most important categories in the battle, in case of a tie category count, the winner is presumably the verse that won this category. how original were the disses? how original were the deliveries? were they more like threats? who had more disses? who had stronger disses? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Personals: this is a diss based on factual information about the opponent. how true is this personal? how well known, or obscure is this information? have they already been dissed about this before? if so, how original was this verses diss about this information? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Vocab: how well did you understand this persons verse? did they use more educated words or less educated words than their opponent? did you have to look up a word from the verse? overall, what was the most impressive use of word in the verse? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Wordplay: this is where the uniqueness of word arrangement comes in. did the writer use words in a way that was out of the box but still made sense? did you get a descriptive image in your head? did they compare things to make a point? did they use metaphors, similies, homophones, or puns? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Rhyme Scheme: this category encompasses flow and multies and vocab into one. how complex was the verses rhyming? were mostly one syllable words rhymed or multi syllabic words or word groups rhymed? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Closer: this is the last two lines of the verse. which one do you remember better after reading both verses? did the verse end with a diss or a hype line or a threat? which one was a stronger diss? was there anything original about the diss, hype, or threat? how could the writer improve this closer? let each opponent know what you thought and possible ways for improvement. and of course, who's was better.

Overall: this is a must. write down which writer did the best in your opinion. note some things you liked and disliked. leave a brief statement to the losing writer about how they could improve.
